Pottery with this "cat's paw" decoration in manganese was reportedly produced only for a period of a few decades in Bell City and Pottertown, KY. Many of the examples that I've seen have unglazed exteriors, but the ones that I have found with an Albany glaze like mine have been attributed to Howard.
