From the sellerMeasuring 8 1/2” this item is an antique porcelain cake plate or double-handled serving platter, commonly produced in Germany or Austria during the late Victorian or Edwardian eras (circa 1890s–1910s). Features a centerpiece transfer print of colorful floral bouquets, accented with a light peach or apricot lustre border. Accented with an ornate, scalloped, and embossed relief edge along the rim. Features two integrated, open handles cut directly into the porcelain mold, typical for serving cakes, pastries, or bread. This piece is unmarked but like items were produces throughout Central Europe during the time period referenced above. Free of chips, cracks, or hairlines with no indication of crazing. Overall a well kept piece.
