Antique 60-78" Copper Lightning Rod And Blue Ball With Weathervane

This product is an antique lightning rod with a purple glass ball, and arrow weathervane originating from the United States in the 1920s. It includes the copper wire holder that slips into the bottom of the rod. There is a stopper for the ball but no protection rubber? to protect the bottom or top of the glass ball. There is nothing hold the weathervane in place I'm not sure if it goes above or below the ball.
