Description
From the seller…… Measuring 20 ½” long from handle to handle, by 13” wide, this large antique, circa 1900, "Solid Mahogany" Tray is surrounded by a silverplate brass gallery, and stands on four ball feet. In our photographs, you can see that the underside of the gallery is hallmarked with multiple hallmarks from the Barbour Silver Co., along with pattern number “5629/18.” The Barbour Silver Company was a notable American manufacturer of sterling and silver-plated hollowware (such as tea sets, trays, and bowls) that operated from 1892 until the firm became part of International Silver Co. in 1898. … Overall, this 19th century Silver Plate Gallery Tray is in very good, unrestored condition. To make sure some eBayer wins this antique Barbour Silver Co.
