These are an exquisite pair of 19th-century French Sèvres cobalt blue porcelain covered urns adorned with gilt bronze (ormolu) mounts. In my opinion while the mark on the underside replicates a 1755 Vincennes/Sèvres royal cipher, the structural design, materials, and artistic execution strongly identify these as high-quality Napoleon III period (19th century) decorative arts rather than 18th-century originals.
