From the seller…… This auction is for an antique Hoyt Electrical Instrument Works Voltmeter, which was used with medical equipment. Hoyt Electrical Instrument Works is a long-standing American manufacturer of electrical testing equipment and panel meters founded by Adrian Hoyt in 1904. … Measuring 3 ¼” in diameter by 1 ½” wide, this Voltmeter features a distinctive glass-faced dial with a visible, exposed needle mechanism. This brass Voltmeter was commonly used during the 1920s, and were sold by the Boston-based Burton-Rogers Company. The Burton-Rogers Company is a small, specialized Massachusetts-based firm that functions primarily as a manufacturer and sales/marketing division for electrical testing and diagnostic devices.
