From the seller…… Measuring 11 ½” long this small antique Bone Saw is marked Bertz. The Frank S. Betz Company was a major early 20th-century manufacturer of medical, surgical, and dental supplies. Founded by Frank S. Betz in 1895 in Chicago, Illinois, the company later relocated its headquarters and factory to Hammond, Indiana, in 1904. Betz became well known for equipping traveling physicians and early hospitals with medical workstations, sterilizers, and compact surgical kits. The handle is constructed with nickel plate and the 8” by 1 3/8”steel blade has scattered dark spots. You could change the blade on this saw by removing the handle. … We have listed this antique Betz Bone Saw without a reserve.
