Antique 1878 Pooler & Jones Boss Cartridge Brass Shotgun Shell Holder Lot x 3

This is a 3 item lot of 12ga brass shotgun shell holders made by Pooler & Jones in Serena, ILL and patented April 16, 1878. One of the three shows some use with slightly bent tabs, a little spread to the sides, and a slightly bent internal shell stopper; none of which seems to detract from its functionality. The other two appear to be unused. All are a little tarnished. I don't know if items such as these are being reproduced and can't say for certain they are period original, but they are marked as they were from that era. The brass shell in the pictures is for reference only and not part of the sale. The last two pictures are for reference and pulled from the internet. Overall condition is very good.
