Description
From the seller5 1/2" by 11" ecru paper ship's bill of lading dated November 9, 1858, schooner ASA ELDRIDGE out of Philadelphia to the port of Savannah carrying 98 bundles of steel for a hardware business in Macon, Georgia. Hand written on the paper "not good for rust" covered the shipper in case of a complaint on the receiving end. In very clean condition.
