Strawberry Moon (Part I of II) This original ACEO is part of a two-piece series inspired by the Strawberry Moon of June 29, 2026. The real moon didn’t glow quite like this, but a news photo stopped me in my tracks. The warm pinks, soft corals, and textured surface felt almost dreamlike, and I wanted to capture that feeling. The moon has a 3D effect and hand carved little craters. Built with palette knife texture and layered oil pastels, this tiny painting celebrates the way nature can spark imagination. Sometimes inspiration isn’t about painting what we see, it’s about painting what a moment feels like. Original oil pastel on 2.5” × 3.5” ACEO cardstock. Signed on the back.
