Description
From the seller"Windy Gap Forest" is an original ACEO and is part of my Virginia Nature series. It depicts the forest on Windy Gap, a mountainous area bordering Franklin County and Roanoke County, Virginia. There is a village at the top of the mountain and I often go there to sit outside and paint. This painting was done using a reference photo that I look of the area. It is a gouache painting on heavy watercolor paper. I am a sucker for details, and wanted the viewer to feel they were seeing the entire scene and every detail all at once.
