Description
From the sellerBubble Fish is an origional aceo painting done in gouache on heavy watercolor paper. Fish are some of my favorite things to paint, in particular their fins and tales. In this painting I wanted to experiment with contrasting colors as well as a lifting technique. This involved painting washes of blue and orange on the paper, waiting for them to dry, then using a damp brush to gently scrub away the areas that I wanted to make lighter. This was easier to do on the bubbles than the fish, but was a fun process to try out!
