From the sellerA traditional Moi or Katu ceremonial Shield . Probably from the highland mountains of the Annamite Range . This is a prestige object but could also be used to deflect blows . Made out of wood , Lacquer and silver foil . From either Vietnam or Laos It has a natural bend which I believe was intended. Handle is Broken Very rare. Approximately 19 1/2 inches in diameter
