I have a flock of 8 white silkies. There are two roosters and the rest are hens. One of the hens is a frizzled showgirl. The rest of the birds are all frizzles. Their chicks have a high chance to be frizzles (I do introduce regular silkies to the flock to reduce the chances of offspring becoming frazzles.) I also did a test hatching. The fertile rate of the eggs is 100% (8 chicks out of 8 eggs). Majority of the hatched chicks are white. There might be a chance to get a dark colored chicks here or there since one of great-grandfather was a splashed silkie. Please let me know if you have any questions. I usually include extra eggs if there are any. Thanks.
