2 Vintage Silk Ball Christmas Tree Ornaments with Santa Claus Head

Up for auction are these two red and white vintage silk ball christmas tree ornaments with a Santa Claus Head. They measure approximately 4 1/2' high and 2 1'2' wide. The santa clause head feels like rubber. The eyes are blue while the eyebrows and beard are white. Each has a red satin shroud. PLEASE NOTE: In the past someone put tape on both sides of the shroud. I did not remove these. I will let the new owner determine how to deal with this. I don't know if it was original to the item or placed on it later. ., I am not sure when these ornaments were made but according to what I could find the silk ball ornaments were massed produced in the 1960's.
