From the seller19th Century Barbizon Landscape After Corot. Man in a Rowboat by the Forest, 13" x 22" oil on canvas (framed size: 19" x 27-1/2") unsigned. Estate of Mrs. H.C. Harding. It says online that the Estate of Mrs. H.C. Harding may refer to the high profile 1936 estate of Adelaide H.C. Frick (widow of Henry Clay Frick) or the estate of former First Lady Florence Kling Harding. Has craquelure, possible fleck in front left Tree, Frame Nicks and frame wear, quite a few areas where white is showing on the frame. Old painting, as found.
