This is a scorecard for the final game the Detroit Tigers played at Tiger Stadium, on September 27, 1999. The Tigers played the Kansas City Royals and won the game 8-2. The scorecard features the starting players wearing the numbers of the greatest Detroit Tigers, as voted by the fans. The starting center fielder, Gabe Kapler, did not have a number because the Tigers' greatest center fielder was Ty Cobb, who did not wear a number.
