This is a 1976 US $2 note with first day of issue hand stamped April 13, 1976 in the Sharon, Massachusetts Post Office and includes a $0.13 stamp of the time. This note is ungraded, uncertified and appears to be uncirculated. The bill possesses a pleasant, crisp texture to the touch and in excellent condition. On April 13, 1976, to celebrate the bicentennial of American independence, new $2 Federal Reserve Notes were issued with backs featuring the well-known painting Signing of the Declaration of Independence. This is a Crisp Bicentennial $2 bill Bearing a 13c stamp.
