1961 Beacon Brand Project Mercury Redstone Atlas Freedom 7 Space Capsule Bank commemorating the First U.S. Astronaut Space Flights in 1961 by Alan Shepard. Jr. in the Freedom 7 and 1962 by John Glenn in the Friendship 7. The space promotional, copper colored, plastic 5" x 4" bank is finely embossed to all sides with historical information of the space flights to the underside of the capsule. Conditionally, the bank is in sound shape having only some minor wear to the plastic at the mouth of the bank, but otherwise it displays well with no chips/cracks.
