1.25" Vintage original 1960s Tolkien pinback button in variegated pink w/decorative border around Elvish letters & stars stating "Gandalf for President". A political pinback button of the rarest breed. Pairs well with Johnson is an Orc script button in my other auctions. Most of the vintage 60s era Hobbit & LOTR buttons reference hippie or counter culture at large. Most of the other Tolkien pins of this era reference drug/hippie/love/ or LOTR references. As shown.
