1943 Toodles by Vogue

My research on this little 8 inch doll turned up more questions than answers until I finally discovered similar dolls in the Effanbee Encyclopedia. This little one is only marked DOLLco. on her back as were some of the dolls pictured in the book, She has a small split in the paint on one leg but is in remarkable good condition otherwise. She has been restrung. She wears a cotton dress and pinafore with side snap shoes. Unfortunately they are both for the same foot. A hook and eye fastens her dress in the back. She has molded hair under just half a wig. Please look at the photos and ask questions before bidding as there is no return on her. Payment is due four days after the end of the auction. Upon receipt, I try to ship within two days.
