Check it out...Here's a classic 6 1/4" wide by 6 1/4" tall by 1" deep HEAVY Walker china bread plate from the "Royal Castle" national hamburger restaurant chain back in 1940-I believe there are one or two still surviving in the Miami, Florida area-The brown and tan lettered plate features the old fashioned cartoon crown logo on front & reads: "Royal Castle" inset on the front-The plate is in great condition-Marked "Walker China Vitrified Bedford, Ohio 10-40" in green lettering, which according to the Walker China company date code website dates it's manufacture to October of 1940.
