1938 Monmouth County N.J. Horse Show Winner Scotch & Rye Decanter Caddy Award

Offered here is a HTF rare 1938 Monmouth County Horse Show Winner Trophy featuring Scotch & Rye Crystal Decanters in a Chrome carrier/rack. The decanters have sterling silver tags engraved with SCOTCH & RYE. The 1938 Monmouth County Horse Show was held at the Thornton Farm in Rumson, New Jersey. CONDITION: The crystal decanters & stoppers are in excellent condition as are the sterling silver tags. The chrome caddy (tantalus) is in very good condition with some “chrome pitting” on the bottom plate but nothing really detracting IMO. My research found liquor decanter caddies were common awards in the 1920’s & 1930’s at horse shows. If you collect vintage Horse show memorabilia this would be a great addition to your Equestrian collection. Good luck.
