From the sellerOriginal antique Real Photo Postcard (RPPC) featuring a charming studio portrait of two young children in costume, photographed by Alec Roberts, Piershill Studio, Portobello, Edinburgh, Scotland. The reverse is inscribed "With love from Jack" and dated 26 January 1924, providing an exact period date. A delightful example of early 20th-century children's portrait photography with excellent costume detail and identified Scottish photographer. An appealing addition to collections of RPPCs, Scottish photography, children's portraits, costume history, or genealogy.
