The view, identified as No. 152, Interior of Snow Arch, Tuckerman’s Ravine, August 14, 1862, looks out from a cave of sorts towards a couple taking a break from their mountain hike. I believe Soule took at least three photographs around this snow arch on August 14, numbered 150 to 152.
