From the sellerThe spear was acquired from an English collection in the early 1990s. The U.K. National Army Museum, Global Role gallery online collection has a very similar spear on display dated from 1879. The Royal Collection Trust has a similar one in the Grand Vestibule of Windsor Castle from c. 1875.
