Beautiful double strand of genuine saltwater akoya pearls presented in lovely blue jewelry case! Pearls are nearly round in shape and measure about 5.5-5.9 mm. Pearls are a creamy yellowish color with a pretty luster. Pearls have generally smooth surfaces, and a moderate amount of small natural blemishes. The necklace measures about 17" long and has tiny knots in between the pearls. The longer strand has about 3 more pearls to make it slightly longer than the shorter one, so they will hang close together. The strand has a 12mm round white gold filigree clasp that works well. There is a lovely pearl mounted in the center of the clasp measuring about 5mm. The clasp hook is marked 14kG (faint imprint). The four knot end cap covers test as gold too! The necklace weighs about 33 grams totally in real gold and genuine pearls.
