From the sellerEach of the thread balls is marked with a patent date of March 5th, 1918, and say this thread is "boil proof.". Ten Balls of Antique Bucilla Crochet & Embroidery Thread. Inside of the box is the original Bucilla tissue paper that protects the thread, and that tissue paper is in poor condition with tears, folds, and breaks throughout.
